Hello Community 2.0ers,
Hope your Fall semester is off to a great start. While I'm not teaching this semester-am going to LA in few days, working on a possible book project, and patting myself on the back for passing my oral exam with distinction :)  - the blog I've set up for my Eng101 classes-  is still up. I've posted announcements about two great events on men/masculinities. Do check it out.

  1. Congratulations!!!

We *love* having you as part of the team. let us know if you are interested in working with any of us...

  2. I've been working with Linda Stein- and she is moderating a discussion between M.Kimmel,J. Briggs and Sh. Knox entitled SALANDER/BLOMKVIST: CHALLENGING STEREOTYPES. This event will take place at the Brooklyn Museum on Oct. 22. If your Shakespeare students- seeing as they are reading the sonnets and Hamlet-are interested in masculinity and gender, do mention the event to them. I've posted the flyer for this event on my blog I could also post it on the Community 2.0 blog, if you think anyone else would be interested in attending. Maybe the art professors and their students?

  3. Miss B--AB-SO-LU-TE-LY!! Please post! That is what we are here for.
