Today's activity was energizing- it gave me the opportunity to see ways to provide occupational and related information into a variety of courses. My purpose is to help students negotiate the transition from working class to middle class- this is more challenging today then in the recent past. To do this students need information on occupations, senior colleges, and employment trends. They also need (and want) to know how their majors related to occupations in demand. My plan is to find interesting and relevant ways for faculty to incorporate this information into their courses.
